Principal's Message

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the new Principal at Valle Vista Elementary School. I am honored to be the leader of such a dynamic and talented team of teachers, instructional assistants, and support staff who are committed to providing our students with rigorous, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. I look forward to partnering with our staff and families to ensure that our students are challenged, supported, respected, and provided the knowledge and tools they need to become college and career ready.

I am honored to be part of Hemet Unified School District and thrilled to be the Principal of our school. I have spent the past two years as the Assistant Principal at Harmony Elementary and before that I enjoyed 26 years as a classroom teacher in the Jurupa Unified School District. I earned my Bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside, and I earned two Master’s degrees, one in Literacy and the other in Educational Leadership, from California State University, San Bernardino.

Throughout my career, I have had the honor to work alongside talented, knowledgeable educators, as well as had the pleasure of serving my students and their families. The relationships I formed with my fellow educators, students, and their families have made me a better person. It is the work that we do together that will make the difference in our students’ lives and I am excited to begin that journey with each one of you.

The entire staff at Valle Vista recognizes that the past few months have been incredibly challenging for our families. The COVID-19 pandemic has not only changed the way we go about our daily lives, but it also changed how we deliver learning to our students. Please know that we miss our students very much and we appreciate how you have helped your children stay connected with their teachers and classmates. As we move toward the 2020-2021 school year, our entire school district is committed to providing optimal learning opportunities for each one of our students. We will continue to provide updates throughout the summer to ensure our families have the most current information about the upcoming school year.

Thank you for the continued dedication and support of our Valle Vista Elementary students and staff. Please feel free to contact me via email or by calling and leaving a message on our school phone. I will return your email or call as soon as possible.

We look forward to the day that we are together again!
