Principal's Message

Dear Valle Vista Families, July 2023

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am very excited to return to Valle Vista Elementary School for my second year as  your proud principal. For those families new to Valle Vista, this is the beginning of my 25th year in the field of public education and eighth year with the Hemet Unified School District. It is an honor to be part of the Valle Vista family, and I look forward to a successful school year! 

As you prepare to return to school, I would like to send a couple of reminders to our families to prepare you for the upcoming school year. The first day of school is Monday, August 14, 2023, please make sure that your data confirmation is completed in Aeries before the start of school. For instructions on how to complete the data validation (re-enrollment) please click this link. If you require assistance please contact the school office at 951-927-0800. Beginning Friday, August 11, 2023,, you will be able to view your student’s schedule and teacher on the Aeries Parent Portal. Log in to your parent portal link , click classes and you will be able to view your student's schedule. For Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K) students and parents only, we will hold an in-person meet and greet opportunity in classrooms from 1:00-2:00pm on Friday, August 11, 2023. Please review the Parent/Student Handbook link or visit the Valle Vista school website for the bell schedule and additional school  information. On the first day of instruction, parents/guardians will be allowed on campus to walk their child to class. After the first day, we respectfully ask that you abide by the closed campus policy. Should your child have a unique circumstance or require additional support, please contact the front office. 

The Valle Vista Elementary School PTA is an integral partner in our successful school program and your child would not receive the top notch educational experience without the PTA’s support. They generously provide us with funds and volunteers to maintain our educational efforts. Please consider joining the Valle Vista PTA this year and support their efforts to provide the best possible experience for our students; or better yet, join the PTA executive  board and attend the monthly meetings and become part of the decision making process. Your support is so greatly appreciated!

It is my hope that students, staff, parents, and the Valle Vista community work together to maintain a positive  environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential and make meaningful connections.
